Hello, blogging time once more, and today, its the 1 year anniversary of my blog today! and today Im celebrating by telling you a quick rundown some awkward behind the scenes anecdotes I had to go through to capture the photos for 3D Rigging. Lets have a look!
So first of all I don't have a camera with a tripod, so how I captured these photos is with this guy an Acer Chromebook CB5-571:
My Acer Chromebook CB5-571.
Ive had this thing since 2017 as my first long term computer Ive ever used and Ive done a lot with it, even writing my blogs for this site!
The reason why is because it has a built in webcam, a not very good one, but one none the less and it works good enough for my purposes Im sure. so all i had to do was set the 10 second timer, hit the button, get into position and away I go. so without further ado, lets have a look.
Image #1 and we have quite a simple pose, a sort of cartoon inspired melt into armchair thing going on here. not much to say here other than it doesn't look quite as humorous here as it would in a cartoon setting but it works.
Image #2 and we have another simple pose, a recline in chair with feet on a foot rest. well, actually its a small table, but you get the idea. again not much to say here other than unlike the previous image, it looks as humorous here as it would in a cartoon setting.
Image #3 and oh boy, this was annoying to pull off as calm as this looks it was hard to make. getting the smile, my hands in the right position, trying to do the pose without getting my feet hurt on floor. in fact that latter point is why i used that mat you see at the bottom. and if you look in the corner, you can see the keyboard from the animation room I borrowed so I could take the picture while still doing the pose.
Image #4 here we have me looking like Im looking like Im listening to music on a radio. of course its not a radio its computers one of which i borrowed from an ewaste dumpster, dont worry I did clean up everything and did return the computer.
And finally Image #5 which is the most akward pose of all, this is supposed to look like im reclining in a hanger, which is actually me reclining in two desk chairs. and once again i used the keyboard to set off the camera again, and yes the end I did hurt my back slightly getting up. but hey, I got it done.
So yeah theres a quick look behind the scenes of my 3D rigging photoshoot. Thanks for reading and ill see you next time!
